Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Human nutrition represents the main topic of the curriculum. Together with the more advandced modul 13 and the modules 8 and 9 (food science) the main knowledge on nutrition should be learned.
Assessment and permitted materials
written exam, open and MC questions, at least 60% to pass the exam
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Metabolism of the macronutrients carbohydrates, fats and fatty acids, proteins, aminoacids, dietary fibre, cholesterol, alcohol as well as the liquid balance. Further of interest is the link between macronutrients, body composition and the increase in chronic diseases.
