Aims, contents and method of the course
Developing listening comprehension strategies, critical listening and discussion skills, as well as producing spoken and written texts embedded in a specific communication situation
Assessment and permitted materials
Assessment will be based on the following:
- Participation in class and in online activities (20%);
- Completion of written assignments (20%);
- Mid-term test (30%);
- Final test (30%).Attendance is mandatory (two absences allowed).

The objectives of this course are as follows:
- to help students improve their listening comprehension and discussion skills;
- to raise students' awareness of writing processes;
- to hone students' writing skills with a focus on the communication situation and text organization.
