Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

gain a more in-depth understanding of English through selected texts and building
vocabulary
while learning idiomatic use of language
and analyzing selected texts with regard to their structures
as well as building research skills in terms of grammar and lexis
using the acquired linguistic knowledge for writing

This is an interactive lecture

Assessment and permitted materials

There will be one final written exam, without the use of auxiliary tools

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

90-100: very good or 1
80-89: good or 2
70-79: average or 3
60-69: low pass or 4
below 60 is a fail or 5

Examination topics

Exam June 2020 online at 5pm
Exam will follow be multiple choice, short answer and fill in the blank (trunkated words) as well as editing similar to prior in-class exam.
Random visual testing will take place a week later where inconsistencies have occurred. You will be notified by email.
