For students with French as a B language: Both German into French as well as French into German require at least 60 percent.90-100% - 1

Examination topics
Mid-term exam: Interpretation of a 10 minute speech. Topic will be announced a week before in class.

Content: In this class mostly videos of speeches, interviews and panel discussions will be used. If possible there will be one live speaker.
Methods: Discussion of possible interpreting strategies, peer to peer feedback, feedback by the teacher, analysis of one's own interpretation.
