Aims, contents and method of the course
Translating German and Russian texts for specialist use dealing with the topics of technology and natural science; systematic analysis of the texts in terms of their specialist terminology and other characteristics, in both languages.
Assessment and permitted materials
Discussing translation strategies and solutions with peers; presentation of translations; glossaries shared via moodle.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
active participation; 2 tests during the term
Examination topics
active participation in discussions and presentations; the written examinations will correspond to the subject matter and level of difficulty of the course material.
