Aims, contents and method of the course
Planning, carrying out, presenting and defending findings of a group project related to intercultural communication in English.
Assessment and permitted materials
Active and regular participation in all tasks given (including assignments to be completed via Moodle).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students reflect on a particular type of communication. They plan, execute and present their project and defend their results in an English-language environment, thus testing and applying their language skills in various real-life contexts.
Examination topics
Students will be assigned groups in which to work on projects related to intercultural communication. The projects will involve field-trip research to be conducted by the student groups independently. Results will be presented in class and further elaborated in panel discussions.
