Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

On the basis of knowledge that was acquired in the TBK-lesson (BA) regarding analysis of texts and different types of texts first (basic) translation exercise PT-German.

Assessment and permitted materials

Current evaluation. Each translation will be graded (awarded points). In the penultimate lesson, a portfolio with all corrected translations is to be handed in.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students ought to start practising translation, from making an offer, asking questions, analyzing texts, working in groups, correcting each other and hand in the translation on time, followed by a bill.

Examination topics

Students receive their tasks weekly via ZTW-Moodle. Each text has to be translated at home and uploaded (by Tuesday night). The teacher corrects the translations which will be discussed during the following lesson in class.
