Basic competences for any type of translation (strategies, text typologies, register, cultural transfer, common and domain knowledge, mining competence, technological skills, etc.) referred to all students' language pairs.
After a brief theoretical introduction to all competences translation strategies will be tackled by analysing written and oral texts - group work. Focussed exercises will give an overview to the different competences needed for the two subject fields. Reflections on the meta-level (final portfolio).
