Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Overview about the grammar of modern standard Czech, in particular word formation, verbal aspect, syntax, and orthography. If requested repetition of chapters covered in the winter term. Students are encouraged to ask questions.

Assessment and permitted materials

Attendance and completion of homework on a regular basis are mandatory. Mandatory final test in the last meeting of the term. Course grade is the result of: final test - 60%, class participation 20%, homework 20%.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Consolidation of standard grammatical forms and written and oral proficiency in context. Recognition of non-standard grammatical forms.

Examination topics

Lecture, individual exercises and exercises in pairs.

Johanna Posset: Tschechische Grammatik I+II, Skriptum des Facultas Serviceverlages (erhältlich im Buchladen des ZfT, können Sie aber auch in selbst kopierter Form verwenden). - In diesem Semester bearbeiten wir die 2. Hälfte des Skriptums.
