Aims, contents and method of the course
Semester topic (summer semester 2019): "Participatory translation in web 2.0: research foci and methods"Critical reflection of theories and methods of translation studies and relevant literature from neighboring fields. Special focus will be placed on qualitative internet research.
Assessment and permitted materials
research plan for the seminar paper, presentation and seminar paper on own empirical research project (group projects)
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students will be expected to carry out independent research on prevailing translation theories with the aim of developing their analytical faculties.
