Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Contents:
Online collaborative translation (challenges and opportunities)

Methods:
group discussions, peer to peer feedback based on system-based approaches, oral presentations

Objectives:
Students are supposed to deepen their knowledge on Translation studies based on the knowledge they already have.
The seminar participants are supposed to put their reflected treatment of the entire semester theme as well as their self-chosen topics to the test.
The students are supposed to deepen their scientific capabilities.

Assessment and permitted materials

oral presentation
written seminar thesis
active collaboration

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

written seminar thesis (60%), oral presentation (40%); both need to be at least positive per se; a very active collaboration can heighten the final mark by one entire grade. The scheme for this can be found on Moodle and will be discussed during the introductory unit of the seminar.
