Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Analysis of texts for special purposes in various fields, such as medicine, technology, humanities, economy, focussing on terminology and stylistic characteristics; working with parallel texts both in Russian and in German. Acquiring basis competence for translating texts for special purposes.
Assessment and permitted materials
- Written exam at the end of the term
- Presentation in class (focussing on terminology of a certain topic)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
minimum 60% for a positive result; active participation throughout the course
Examination topics
The exam topics include the content and work assignments presented in the course as well as the required reading published on Moodle.
