Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Analysis of texts for special purposes in various fields, such as medicine, technology, humanities, economy, focussing on terminology and stylistic characteristics; working with parallel texts both in Russian and in German. Acquiring basic competence for translating texts for special purposes.

Presentation on a specialised field (focussing on the relevant terminology)

The following components of participation during the semester are weighted approximately as follows:
- Attendance and active participation in the lessons: 50%
- Tests (2x in the course of the semester): 30%
- Presentations (1x per semester): 20%
