Aims, contents and method of the course

Kurze theoretische und praktische Einführung in das Simultandolmetschen. Danach Übungen in der Kabine.

Assessment and permitted materials

Prüfungsimmanente LV. Regelmäßiger Besuch, Verfassen von mind. 2 zu dolmetschenden Texten.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Die Studierenden sollen dazu herangeführt werden, langsam gesprochene Texte simultan zu dolmetschen.

Examination topics

Für Anfänger erfolgt in der ersten Einheit eine theoretische Einführung in das Simultandolmetschen, danach wird Nachsprechen geübt. Begonnen wird mit allgemeinen Texten, die immer schwieriger und schneller werden. Gedolmetscht werden aktuelle, aus der Praxis stammende Texte. Es werden praktische Hinweise für die Arbeit des Dolmetschers gegeben und vor der Dolmetschung die Terminologie bzw. die Schwierigkeiten des jeweils gedolmetschten Textes besprochen. Gedolmetscht wird in beide Richtungen. Die Studierenden verfassen auch eigene Texte, die von ihnen gelesen und von der Gruppe gedolmetscht werden.
