Aims, contents and method of the course
Overview of the evolution, basic concepts and theories of interpreting studies.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written exam in the second exam week of the term (end of November).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students will acquire a solid understanding of the development of the discipline and the theoretical foundations of interpreting studies.
Examination topics
Lecture supported by presentation slides (PowerPoint) with opportunity for questions and discussion.
