Seminar papers integrate both theoretical and practical aspects of transcultural communication.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Providing the necessary background and developing tools and skills for drawing up the seminar paper, based on the frame of reference specified for the Centre for Translation. Creating an awareness for identifying, and reflecting on, aspects of professional transcultural communication

Examination topics

Following an introduction on academic research and writing, issues related to academic writing will be developed in teams and/or small groups and in individual assignments. The process of writing the paper will be supported by tutorial units organised for seminar students.
