Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Active participation and regular attendance are required. Ongoing monitoring of performance, with regular feedback from the lecturer and other students. There may be an oral examination.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The development of skills in simultaneous interpreting from German into English through practice on a variety of material at intermediate level, including presentations by students and the instructor. Particular attention will be paid to pronunciation, intonation and fluency of expression in English.
Examination topics
The development of techniques in simultaneous interpreting from German into English.
