Aims, contents and method of the course
Principles and elements of language-independent note taking, discussion of different approaches to note-taking technique, note-taking/consecutive interpreting exercises.
Assessment and permitted materials
Participation in class (28% of semester grade), homework (handed in on time, 36%), one intralingual interpretation with notes in the final class (36%).Grading:

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Acquiring a functional note-taking technique suitable as a basis for consecutive interpreting classes in the MA.

Intralingual interpretation with notes.
