Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Students will learn to write different types of informative, operative and creative texts in English to a variety of specifications.
Assessment and permitted materials
Contributions to discussions, homework and in-class assignments, mid-term test, final exam.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Developing creative, informational and technical writing skills, writing and revising texts to precise specifications, understanding and applying text type and discourse conventions.
Examination topics
Preliminary discussion in class, preparation of assignments by students individually or in groups. Discussion of problems and solutions in class, correction of writing assignments. Students will also be required to write texts in class.
Reading list
Class materials will be available digitally. Additional reading to be announced in class if necessary.
