Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
(40%) The continuous evaluation will take place during all semester and it will be composed by small tasks, such as small questions or quiz, to be posted on moodle.(60%) The final evaluation will take place on the 3 last classes of the semester and will be divided in two moments:
- Elaboration of a class plan and teaching it (to the colleagues)
- Elaboration of a class plan and teaching it (to kids)
- Elaboration of a class plan and teaching it (to the colleagues)
- Elaboration of a class plan and teaching it (to kids)
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
- By the end of this course. the students should
- know how to set up a skating class, its security and organization procedures.
- be able to plan a structured class;
- be able to demonstrate the exercises for the class;
- know how to help and correct the students during the Skating classes;
- know the basic rules of the different Roller Sports;
- be able to adapt their classes/exercises for different skills, needs and environments.
