In March 2022, the first 3 dates of the course will take place at the specified times on the Schmelz / USZ 1, Halle 4.
From April and May 2022 the course will take place on the Danube Island. Wakeboard lift, Kaisermühlen car park for inline skating / roller sports equipment / SUP. These units are blocked and always take place on Wednesday mornings between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.Further block appointments: 2 x Saturday mornings, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Location: Sports High School Ma. Enzersdorf, Gießhüblerstrasse 37 in 2344 Ma. Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
(40%) The continuous evaluation will take place during all semester and it will be composed by small tasks, such as small questions or quiz, to be posted on moodle.(60%) The final evaluation will take place on the 3 last classes of the semester and will be divided in two moments:
- Elaboration of a class plan and teaching it (to the colleagues)
- Elaboration of a class plan and teaching it (to kids)
- Elaboration of a class plan and teaching it (to the colleagues)
- Elaboration of a class plan and teaching it (to kids)
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
- By the end of this course. the students should
- know how to set up a skating class, its security and organization procedures.
- be able to plan a structured class;
- be able to demonstrate the exercises for the class;
- know how to help and correct the students during the Skating classes;
- know the basic rules of the different Roller Sports;
- be able to adapt their classes/exercises for different skills, needs and environments.
