Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar is aimed exclusively at doctoral candidates with a dissertation topic in medical law, primarily at those supervised at the Chair of Medical Law. Admission is granted after an individual application via e-mail directly to karl.stoeger@univie.ac.at (mandatory enclosure of the dissertation exposé and a cover letter). The main aim is to present the PhD student's research project (plans and progress) to the other participants/attendees, in particular to doctoral candidates from the University of Innsbruck, followed by a discussion. The costs for travel, accommodation and catering are to be borne by the participants themselves.
Assessment and permitted materials
Quality of the presentations and participation in the discussions will be assessed.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Medical law obligatory and elective courses (Wahlfachkorb), exposé, dissertation project in medical law
Assessment: Originality of the topic, maturity of the project, quality of the presentation (in terms of content and language) and performance during discussions
