Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This research seminar is organized around the cross-cutting themes of current field work methodologies. Participants are invited to engage with a joint reading list, and to refer to it in their presentations and discussions. Presentations should feature participants' respective doctoral/PhD projects, with a primary emphasis on ethnographic fieldwork procedures and their methodological dimensions. Primary emphasis has to be given to participant observation; this seminar is not inviting participants whose doctoral projects/PhD seminars do not include some crucial role for participant observation.
