Aims, contents and method of the course
Building on Lazarsfeld’s seminal study Die Arbeitslosen von Marienthal this course will introduce modern methods of using smart phones and other wide-spread sensors to collect behavioral data from the general public. This course will discuss these opportunities, and provide practical guidance on how to design such data collection.

Seminar papers can be submitted in English or German.
