Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
As part of the doctoral-seminar, the students should deal with the topic of their own doctoral thesis. They give a presentation on the topic of their dissertation (current status) and discuss a written part of their dissertation in the working group and in the plenary session. The subject of the discussion is based on the needs of the participants. Through feedback loops, they are supported in particular with:-the choice or review of the subject-the specification of the question-the production of theoretical references-the selection of appropriate research methodology and methods-questions of research access-consideration of ethical aspects in empirical research in the fieldA realistic schedule
Assessment and permitted materials
Active participation in the course dates through group work discussions, reflectionsShort presentation on the topic of the dissertation of a written text part from the dissertation in the working group and in the plenumThe assessment is based on the assessment criteria for scientific theses.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Short report and presentation of a written text part from the dissertation.
