The main focus is on the fundamental theories of Coulomb fluids developed in the last century but formulated in the framework of the field theory.
We will use that field-theoretic approach to study some concrete problems such as:
1) rigid entities with fixed charge (DNA, viruses)
2) charge fluctuations (proteins)
3) shape fluctuations (polyelectrolytes)
4) concentration fluctuation (colloid assembly)
The lectures will be given on a blackboard in English language.
