Aims, contents and method of the course

1. To learn about hot topics / current research in geology
2. To equip participants with transferable skills applicable to their research in geology and science more generally
3. To foster scientific exchange, prompt and encourage discussion, and networking

Assessment and permitted materials

Active participation and a seminar presentation on the participants' research area in the course of the semester

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The seminar is in English. Attendance with active participation in the scientific discussions as well as at least one (informal) presentation.
