Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture offers a detailed view of the classic period of the Bulgarian literature: to start with Hristo Botevs a representative of the inimitable-genius poetry and to end with dense contrast of variaons aestehetic trends daring the World War I. The anxiety and pressure in the Bulgarian literature was created in the period between the 70s of XIX century und the first decade of the XX century - with all development flows and streams, conflicts between the generations, recognition of new authors, daring debuts and distingnished declines. The most important Author figures in this survey will be Ivan Vazov, Zahari Stoyanov, Todor Vlaykov, Stoyan Michaylovski, Aleko Konstantinov, Pencho Slaveykov, Kiril Hristov, Peyo Yavorov, Elin Pelin, Petko Todorov.
