For BA-students and students of the teacher's course of slavistics during the first phase who have already finished the StEOP. It is advisable to attend the current lecture on synchronic linguistics of Bulgarian.

Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Fundamental concepts and terms; short characterization of current and historical Bulgarian; phonetic and phonological, suprasegmental, graphemic, morphological, and syntactic structure; practical instructions for linguistic work and the techniques of scientific presentation.

Assessment and permitted materials

active collaboration, tests, paper/presentation

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Basic knowledge of the above outlined topics and practical documentation in the form of the written paper.

Examination topics

In a theoretical overview and papers/presentations with subsequent discussion selected issues of Bulgarian linguistics will be treated in co-operation; concomitantly, practical instructions for linguistic work and the techniques of scientific presentation will be given.
List of secondary literature and themes of papers will be distributed in the first session.
