Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The lecture gives insight into the history of Bulgarian from its development from the South Slavonic dialect continuum until the establishment of the modern standard language. Historical phonetics, morphology, and syntax will be treated as well as the literature of the Bulgarians in the Second Bulgarian Empire and under Byzantine and Ottoman rule.
