Aims, contents and method of the course
Main characteristics of the postmodern text. Leading motives, artistic and stylistic features of contemporary Russian poetry (I. Brodsky, S. Gandlevsky, T. Kibirov, D. Prigov, V. Oblomov and others). Features of the verse: imagery, rhythmic organization, the language of poetry. Contemporary women's lyrics (V. Pavlova, F. Grimberg, E. Shwartz, E. Isaeva, V. Polozkova and others).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
To recognize the main characteristics of the postmodern text and basic features of the verse, to know the main representatives of modern Russsian poetry.
Examination topics
Discussions, reports, referats and analysis of texts.
