Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Subject of the course describes one of the most catastrophic
phenomena of the 20th century. It is the source for a
descriptive-philosophical potential, which found its expression in the
published volumes about the GULAGs.
In the context of this course specific problems and subjects will be dealt with, taking into account the published classics on "Camp" fiction , but also referring to the specifics of "Camp language". A special reference will be made not only to the analysis of the known and published works, but specifically on the written documents of women. At the same time it will touch upon the subject "GULAG in poetry".
