Aims, contents and method of the course
This course aims at supplying participants (=prospective high-school teachers) with procedures and knowledge which are relevant for the teaching of factual, argumentative writing that is necessary for Austrian high school students who are required to write a „pre-scholarly paper” in order to graduate from high-school from 2014 on. The course will present different didactic aspects of the teaching of academic writing and will also provide linguistic and psychological insights from writing research.
