Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Goals:
Students expand their knowledge of the tasks and requirements of the teaching profession. They deepen their understanding of pedagogical professionalism and expertise. Relevant topics of teaching and learning research are presented and discussed.

Contents:
Questions of professional responsibility, methods of evaluation and reflection of teaching and the acquisition of the necessary competences.
Methods:
Content inputs on the individual topics by the course instructor in tandem with short presentations by the participants

Assessment and permitted materials

Type of performance assessment:
Active participation in the attendance hours,
short presentations on various agreed topics (literature, methods, study design);
written paper on the presented topic.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Minimum requirements:
Basic knowledge and critical evaluation and theoretical classification of research literature have been acquired and find their way into the written paper; high-quality content contributions to the joint discussion in the classroom sessions.

Examination topics

An overview of the contents discussed in the seminar; literature according to the literature list including the in-depth research literature required for the selected topic of the presented paper.
