Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Minimum requirements:
Relevant knowledge of research literature, of methods of theoretical classification and of evaluation is acquired and demonstrated in the presentations and in the seminar paper; high quality contributions to the joint discussion in the attendance sessions.
40 % of the assessment: active participation in the attendance hours including a short presentation,
60 % assessment of the seminar paper, which is to be written according to good scientific practice: inclusion of literature relevant to the topic, consistent argumentation, systematically structured composition, conclusive summary, correct citation.

Examination topics
An overview of the contents discussed in the seminar; literature according to the literature list including the in-depth research literature required for the selected topic of the presented paper.

Students expand their knowledge of the tasks and requirements of the teaching profession. They deepen their understanding of pedagogical professionalism and expertise. Relevant topics of teaching and learning research are presented and discussed.Contents:
Questions of professional responsibility, methods of evaluation and reflection of teaching and the acquisition of the necessary competences.
Methods:
Short presentations of the participants in tandems or in small groups and moderated discussions. Content-related inputs by the course instructor. The preparation of the short presentations will be tutored.
