Aims, contents and method of the course

The required course for undergraduate students (bachelor programme) offers an introduction to earth history from Precambrian to Recent. The geological development of Europe and the Alpine region is of special interest. A collection of characteristic rock specimen and stratigraphically important fossils is presented during the practical of the course.
