Aims, contents and method of the course
This lecture series provides information on biology and quantiative ecology of aquatic insect groups common in central Europe, ranging from Collembola to Sisyridae and Hymenoptera. Among other topics, it focuses on adaptice and reproductive strategies, life cycles, embryonic and larval development and habitat requirements.
