Aims, contents and method of the course

A multidisciplinary plate tectonics introduction to the Himalaya & Tibet. Looks at what the various disciplines of Earth Sciences tell us about the
processes of oceanic and continental tectonics using examples from the (presently active) India-Asia coliision and comparing with fossil
(extinct) collisional orogens.
