Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Nordafrika (Algerien und Tunesien) hat eine kaiserzeitliche und spätantik-frühbyzantinische Denkmalüberlieferung. Davon soll u.a. ein Überblick über die kirchliche Architektur, ihre verschiedenen Typen, ihre Ausstattung und ihren urbanistischen Zusammenhang gewonnen werden.

Einführung in die Architektur der Spätantike, bes. den Kirchenbau, und die Mosaikkunst.

Referate und Diskussion.
