Information
Examination topics
The test does not ask for dates and facts, but examines the skills of application of methods and information given during the course. Each question will be asked in reference to a specific example of text, score or picture, which has to be worked on under a specific aspect. Part of the examples will be known from the course, others are unknown.
You should prepare for the exam with the slides of the course, with the preparation assignments and the given literature including hints for further reading (see below and course shelf in library of the department of musicology). During the course on 9th January there will be time for questions regarding the exam. On the last course day (23rd January) we will deal in the second half of the meeting with possible examples in order to prepare for the test.

Assessment and permitted materials
The examination serves to determine whether the entire lecture material (methodology and content) has been internalized, also with the help of the preparations from lecture to lecture. In principle, nothing is tested that was not mentioned in class.
No aids are permitted. The examinations take place on site, digital participation is not planned.
