Information

Examination topics

The lecture follows the scriptum. It contains all that is necessary for the exam (and a few things more). But for a good exam-certificate regular attendance, particulary in the first lectures is recommended.
Students are not expected to be familiar with the Greek language, but a basic knowledge of Latin (or a Romance or Slavic language or an other with a wealth of forms) is highly advantegeous.

Assessment and permitted materials

An oral exam of approximately 10 minutes. Grammar is not part of the exam. For further informations see scriptum p. 1.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The aim of the course is also to enable students to use a Greek dictionary as a source of information and to comprehend translations in bilingual editions of reference books.
