Examination topics

The lecture + individual reading of chosen primary- and secondary literature

Assessment and permitted materials

Passing the lecture requires a written exam at the end of the winter semester or at the beginning and in the course of the summer semester. Three of five given questions have to be chosen and each of them needs to be answered in the form of short, one-page essay

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Knowledge of the most significant philosophical theories of Modern Art since the 18th century, critical reflection on the concepts and discourses offered in the lecture
