Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students understand the essential concepts behind current key genomic approaches for studying variation, adaptation, and speciation in plants, animals, and other organisms. They are able to choose suitable approaches for addressing specific questions in the modern life sciences in general and in ecology & evolutionary biology in particular. Attendance of the complementary UE 300369 is recommended for students wishing to go deeper into ecological & evolutionary genomics during their MSc or PhD projects.
